Every Princesse strand is carefully inspected, graded and sized to provide the maximum in quality assurance. All strands are then carefully hand made, with each pearl securely knotted in place, using the finest silk cord. As one on the nations leading suppliers of fine cultured pearls, we proudly offer the broadest range of pearl grades, sizes, types and price ranges.
Princesse™ Cultured Pearl Strand Quality Grading System At this time our industry still lacks an internationally recognized system of cultured pearl strand evaluation. The following Grading System applies only to Brogan Princesse™ Cultured Pearl Strands and is not to be confused or substituted for any other grading system. B: Our Finest Grade. These cultured pearl necklaces exhibit the highest luster, finest rose color, most pronounced orient (prismatic sheen) and a minimum of spotting within the necklace. Subject to availability. C: These strands are very comparable to our B grade, but might have a bit more spotting with in the strand. "C" grade represent our top quality on some of our less commonly available sizes. E: Our Middle Grade. These necklaces are of high luster generally rose in color and have very little spotting. G: Our Beginning Grade. Our "G" Grade necklaces represent good value in that they exhibit medium luster and a whitish or slightly creamy color. Some spotting might be apparent within the strand. This Grade, however, should not be compared with more commonly available promotional goods in that they do not have heavy spotting or a very thin nacre coating or predominately non-spherical shapes. SP: Due to melange importation practices, cultured pearl strands which do not fully conform to the strict Princesse™ Grading System above sometimes become available. They often represent an exceptional value and we are happy to offer them on a limited basis, subject to availability.
We also offer a complete restringing service for necklaces whose silk has become streched or worn with time. In addition we can add pearls matching in color and size to an existing strand in order to create additional lentgth, or make a matching bracelet. |
